I thought I would share a few of the recent humorous and political in nature e-mails I've received.



1.) a letter from an employer to his staff.



Dear Employees:



As the CEO of this organization, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barrack Obama is our President and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG WAY for these increases. To compensate for these increases our prices would have to increase by about 10%. But since we cannot increase our prices right now due to the dismal state of the economy, we will have to lay off sixty of our employees instead. This has really been bothering me since I believe we are a family here and I didn't know how to choose who would have to go.



So, this is what I did. I walked through our parking lots and found sixty "Obama" bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the ones to let go. I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem. They voted for change.... I gave it to them.



I will see the rest of you at the annual company picnic.



The Boss



(It is not my intention to make light of the unemployment numbers with this, I suspect, fictional account. I know people I care about who are out of work. Many of whom may be reading this. I do believe those who are most responsible for job creation, small business, are hesitant to make commitments that would create jobs because of the uncertainty of the economic climate. Fear of tax hikes, over regulation and government control has caused business to be extra cautious. With the concerns business has with providing benefits impacted by Obamacare, the prospects of cap and trade, looming out of control deficits and Tax Hikes, no wonder the prospects for reductions in unemployment seem bleak. Obama needs to quit blaming the Bush administration and take responsibility for his own policies and make a commitment to extend the "Bush Tax Cuts" that expire at the end of the year. It would be a start.)






2.) This is a very sad story about a bear. Everybody should heed the warning to not feed wildlife because they become dependent and cannot forage for themselves anymore.


This is such a tragedy to see what they have done to our country's wldlife. The photo below captures a disturbing trend that is beginning to affect U.S. wildlife...

Animals that were formerly self-sufficient are now showing signs of belonging to the Democrat Part.. as they have apparently learned to just just sit and wait for the government to step in and provide for their care and sustenance.

3.) Mr Legal works in construction, has a social security number and makes $25.00 an hour with taxes deducted.

Mr Illegal also works in construction, has NO social security number and gets $15.oo per hour cash "under the table".

READY?? NOW PAY ATTENTION...

Mr Legal: $25/hr X 40 hrs= $1,000.00 per week or $52,000 per year. Now take 30% away for state & federal tax; Mr Legal now has $31,231.00

Mr Illegal: $15/hr X 40 hours = $600.oo per week, or $31,200 per year. He pays NO taxes; Mr Illegal now has $31,200.00

Mr. Legal pays medical & dental insurance with limited coverage for his family at $600.00 per month or $7,200 per year. Mr Legal now has $24,031.00.

Mr. Illegal has medical and dental coverage through state and local clinics at a cost of $0.00 per year. Mr Illegal still has $31,200.00

Mr. Legal makes too much money and is not eligible for food stamps and welfare. He pays $500.00 per month for food, or $6,000.00 per year. Mr. Legal now has $18,031.00

Mr. Illegal has no documented income and is eligible for food stamps and welfare. Mr. Illegal still has $31,200.00

Mr. Legal pays rent of $1,200.00 per month or $14,400 per year. Mr Legal now has $9,631

Mr Illegal receives a $500.00 per month federal rent subsidy which he pays out $6,000 per year. He still has $31,200.00

Mr Illegal receives a $280 per family member/ month federal CASHAID for four family members. Mr Illegal now has $43,200.00

Mr Legal pays $200.00 per month, or $2400.00 per year for auto & life insurance. Mr Legal now has $7231.00

Mr Legal doesn't purchase insurance & now has $43,200.00

Mr Legal has to make his $7,231.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline etc.

Mr Illegal doesn't pay for most utilities in many states as he gets county assistance to pay his bills.

Mr Legal now works overtime or gets a part time job "and pays a higher tax rate if he earns above a certain amount"

Mr Illegal has nights and weekends off to enjoy with his family

Mr Legal's and Mr Illegeal's children both attend the same school. Mr Legal pays for his children's lunches while... Mr Illegal's children get a government sponsered lunch and an after school ESL program-- Mr Legal's children go home

Mr Legal and Mr Illegal both enjoy the same police and fire services, bur Mr Legal paid for them.

Mr. Legal pays social security tax and medical tax while Mr Illegal doesn't Mr. Illegal can take off any time he likes, Mr Legal can't Mr Illegal can get away with crime, Mr Legal can't.

(This example may be a little exaggerated, but makes it clear why Americans overwhelmingly want something done about Illegal Immigration--Add the drug trade, the violence on the border etc and is it any wonder Americans are fed up-- Build a fence and control the border. Then we can begin doing something about reform)
